Not worth the time
This unit leaves stubble, lots. The two exposed cutters are difficult to work with when trying to leave hair uncut. There is no safe side to cut with. You can't leave it plugged in all the time they recommend that you let it run down before charging and only leave it plugged in long enough to charge.
Mine unit could have been defective but it never worked well from the start.
My Micro Screen Remington face shaver does a much better job. Has a selectable trimmer on one side. Leaves no stubble and doesn't take bites of skin unless one is really trying to get some.

Only for men with really thin hair!
This product is not for men with thick hair. I am not a hairy person by any means but what hair I do have is thick. It's great that it's water resistant but that dose'nt matter much if it dose'nt cut the hair. Everytime I take off the blue thingies the whole face comes off. Poor quality all around. Until I get a better trimmer my groin is looking like a flock of seagles do.

Pressure problems?
After a year of a good grooming, the unit's switch suddenly got stuck in the "on" position. Middle of the night, total silence in the house.. Except for what sounded like a huge vibrator. Had to shove it under a pillow and wait till the batteries died. Arrrgh.
Now, how do you fix that? Pretty simple. The switch is getting stuck because of the vacuum developing inside of the watertight container. The unit is getting hot in the shower, pressure inside increases, and it (somehow) releases that pressure. Eventually, you are getting enough vacuum to suck the membrane that covers the switch almost all the way in. All you have to do to fix that is let some air in.
First, make sure the unit is dry in and out. Use a compressed air can to blow water drops out of hard to reach places if you have to. You don't want to let any water get inside! Now, remove the head. Just pull it out.
Next, using a flathead screwdriver or utility knife, pull out those silvery colored side moldings. The case will open like a clamshell. You will find a fairly small watertight container with all of the electrical components inside. Carefully pull out any of the latches that are used to keep it closed. Pull two latches if that wasn't enough; your on/off switch membrane will immediately "pop" back into shape.
Reseal the unit back like it was before. Works like new!

extremely limited use as trimmer, somewhat better as shaver
this product is awful for use as a trimmer, the included blue clip on height regulators easily pop off when you apply pressure to them while shaving hard to reach places or places where the hair is oriented in different directions. In addition the blue attachments have sharp edges that tend to snag skin when used in tight spaces. When using without the attachments the n aked shaver itself requires mutliple passes over the same are to get hair level down to height neededfor the foil shaver to "shave" the remaining stuble away. Even that shave process requires numerous passes regardless of whether you use it in the shower with running water or dry. If you plan to use it to reduce body hair length with their the naked shaver or with the blue clip on attachments, forget about it! You essentially would have to pull the hairs taught with tweezers and them pass the machine over the taught hair. In my experience the only thing this machine is reasonble good at is wet shaving of areas where you have already gotten the hair down to a reasonable length, I would say no longer than 1, with either another set of trimmers or scissors. As a shaver, with super short hair and fuzz, it works pretty well in the shower under running water and is not irritating at all. It's also noteworthy to mention that the foil is extremely delicate and intolerant of any drops, such as might happen often with a wet body trimmer in the shower whilst reaching around for hard to get at spots. But for trimming hair, I would not recommend this product at all.

You get what you pay for.
I was impressed with the price of the shaver, and it was working well when I first used it. Unfortunately I found that the top is extremely flimsy, and the blade falls out all the time. It's actually difficult to change clip-sizes without pulling the whole top off. Other reviewers had the exact same problem as me which is how I know it isn't just mine that's defective. Even if it's cheap for a razor, I know I definitely could've gotten more for the money.
