Product Description: Twilight is an action packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different and when her mother sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for: a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward and Bella do when James, Laurent and Victoria, the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? This is the first movie from the book series from author Stephanie Meyer. The series are currently some of the most popular books written for young adults, with sales exceeding 50 million copies worldwide since the Twilight debut in 2004 and over 7.7 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The fourth book in the series, Breaking Dawn, was released on August 2, 2008 and sold over 1.2 million units on the first day.

Not what I envisioned but still good music
After my friend's teens practically threw the first Twilight book at me I was hooked. And after reading the third I was psyched to hear that a movie was coming out for the first book. As for the soundtrack for the movie it has a few good songs that go with it but some just don't do it for me. I love Paramore so I was really excited to hear they had the lead song and then even more later to hear they had another on it as well. The song by Rob is kinda hard to understand to me.. I have yet to find the lyrics online somewhere. Maybe if I knew all he was singing I would get it more. I love Rob but I never expected his voice to sound like that. I still don't know if I like it or not. Bella's lullaby wasn't what I had in mind. I envisioned just the piano but for a movie I guess they have to play it up a bit but the orchestra added didn't do it for me. Maybe minus it.. We'll see what it's in the movie. It's the only part in the movie I really hope is done good(in my eyes at least). The song, Go All The Way (Into The Twilight) by Perry Farrell is just funny and goes along with the movie and the series in a whole so well I love it! Even though it's upbeat the lyrics fit to me. About meeting for the first time, happy days coming, sparkles and lightning striking(baseball!) and of course going into 'twilight.' It's my favorite after the Paramore songs. Linkin Park is another of my favorite bands and Leave Out All the Rest is all Edward. Overall I'm happy with the soundtrack but I'd have liked to some different songs. I give it 4 stars regardless because it's still good even though not all I envisioned specifically for this movie.

Twilight Soundtrack
Wonderful! Favorites Paramore, Muse and of course listening to Robert Pattinson's voice is out of this world.

It's growing on me.......
When I purchased this the day it was released, I was disappointed in some of the songs. I really liked "Decode", "Spotlight", "Leave Out All the Rest" and "Eyes on Fire", but thought the rest were off mark. I agree the "Go All the Way" disco-tech song seems way out of place with all of the other dark songs, but the rest seem pretty good. I really like "Bella's Lullaby" as a song, but it does not really fit with what the book described. Rob Pattinson's song was well done, although I wish you could hear his voice a bit better, he seems like he's mumbling a little. All in all, I am pleased with it more now. I think it just takes some getting used to. I am interested to see how many of these songs are actually used in the movie (not the end credits). I am also looking forward to the release of the movie score. I think I will like it a lot.

Great Musical Collection
There are so many varieties of songs provided on this one soundtrack that make it a must. I bought it on the release date and have been listening to it daily. The songs connect so well to the books. I love the fact that so many big name artists added songs to the mix and it is definately a great collection for any fan of the Twilight books

Twilight mom
It started out as idle curiousity - what's all the hype? My young adult daughter brought the book home to share and after the first chapter, I was hooked. How unusual to be considered a "groupie" when I could be the mother of any one of the cast.
The Twilight soundtrack was interesting. I'd listened to the playlist on Stephanie Meyer's website first. Honestyl, I hadn't really heard of all the groups but found the songs relevant to the book content.
Can't wait to see the movie. We'll be some of those crazy people waiting in line tomorrow night at midnight.
I must be outta my mind!
